Refund Policy

Can I withdraw at any time and receive a refund?
Requests for withdrawals must be made in writing (email, letter, fax) to Student Administration before the census date (18 December 2009). Click the link above to contact Student Administration..

Domestic Students
Prior to the census date (18 December) a full refund will be given to students who are withdrawing from subjects.

After 18 December no refunds are possible. An Approved Withdrawal (AW grade) after the census date may be applicable, and you need to contact Student Administration for more information. Students should note that the granting of an Approved Withdrawal (AW grade) does not entitle them to a refund.

International students
Please refer to the relevant International Refund Policy. (Link is below).
Please note when referring to the policy the following applies:
Onshore International Students are students who are residing in Australia whilst they study.
Offshore International Students are students who DO NOT reside in Australia whilst they study.

Can I defer my studies or take leave of absence?
Enrolment in the Summer session program is subject specific and therefore deferment/leave is not applicable.
