First, you’ll be studying the world’s best animation and learning fundamental techniques to create your own (VFX101) while also coming to grips with the basics of Multimedia (MPI104). Once you’ve earned your wings you’ll be introduced to the phenomenal virtual world of 3D graphics to go further into the imagination that the conventional camera allows (VFX105) whilst also learning advanced Multimedia concepts [MPI110).
In second year you’ll be taken through the entire production process from conception to completion by creating your own digital animation (VFX201) and exploring cutting-edge technology in publishing [MPI220). At the end of second year you’ll enter the magic circle of visual effects work where everything you’ve learnt comes together in compositing (VFX206) and special effects {VFX206]. In third year you’ll be working on major
productions (VFX301 and VFX302) and there is always the possibility of honors.
