Real world experience and community relationships

Get a flying start on your career

Print design

CSU’s Bachelor of Arts (Graphic Design) students gain ten weeks of practical work experience during the second and third year of the course. This hands-on experience is essential in your development as a designer and in particular, working as part of a team. Work experience opportunities are varied and you will be encouraged to try a variety of placements from traditional printers through to advertising agencies and animation studios.

Real clients, real briefs

Year two and three students also work with real clients taking on specific briefs from designing new corporate identities and producing integrated stationery through to devising complex ad campaigns for a variety of non-profit organisations such as the Australian Red Cross and Rotary.
