Health Services
The Academy Health Services Section is staffed by Registered Nurses with postgraduate qualifications and experience in different specialties.
The Section provides:
- First aid for injuries and illnesses for staff, students and visitors
- Primary Health Care
- Occupational health activities, including pre-attestation medical assessments, medical assessments for specialist police squads; immunisation clinics for police employees (not students)
- Health education sessions for police employees and Associate Degree in Policing Practice students
- Infection control
