Indigenous Education

Introduction

Charles Sturt University has been operating Indigenous Support Service for Indigenous students for the past 16 years. During that time, the Units’ activities have remained focused on the provision of academic, personal and cultural support for Indigenous students.

The University also runs a Centre for Indigenous Studies which, in collaboration with all faculty staff and the Executive, has a charter that includes responsibility for the promotion of teaching and learning of Indigenous education at CSU.

Indigenous students may benefit from the Koori Admissions Program an admissions program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people run by CSU's Indigenous Support Units.
