Bachelor of Nursing (re-entry)

If you are a registered nurse who has had a break from practice Charles Sturt University’s (CSU) new Bachelor of Nursing (re-entry) has been designed specifically for you. 

The course can be completed in one to two years part-time by distance education or in six months to one year of full time study on Bathurst campus and has been developed to assist you to return to the profession with current knowledge and clinical experience as well as acquiring additional qualifications at university level.

The Nursing profession is at an exciting time in terms of education and employment opportunities. You may re-enter nursing in areas of practice, education or management.

National Nurse re-entry Scholarship

In recognition of the need for more highly skilled nurses in the workforce the Australian Government has introduced the National Nurse re-entry scholarship valued at $6000 for registered nurses and midwives who have not practiced for three years or more to assist you in your studies and on the path back into the profession.  The application closing date for this scholarship is 23 October 2009.  For more information visit www.rcna.org.au/scholarships/nsp_re-entry
