CSU offers a range of other services to assist you in your time at CSU.
The CSU Careers Service can assist with all your career needs during the course of your studies and even after graduation. Programs and resources offered by our Careers Service have been designed to support our commitment to providing professional and practical experience as a major component of study at CSU.
In addition to the professional and practical experience gained while studying a CSU course, the Career Development Work Experience Program offers students additional opportunities to develop relevant abilities while the Career Hub interactive database allows students and graduates to network with employers, providing an invaluable career tool.
Each campus offers on campus eating areas with a range of food and refreshments available.
Students are able to obtain assistance and/or advi ce on a range of academic topics, including special consideration, misconduct, review of assignment or grade. Staff are available to discuss these topics, provide guidance and help with appropriate documentation.
The short term loan scheme is in place to assist students so that they are able to continue with their studies. It is available to ECS funded students who are currently enrolled at CSU
A wide range of entertainment, including some of the best live bands in the country, is provided for students’ enjoyment. Apart from the opportunity to relax, our entertainment program promotes student networking which can often be useful for all students.
A graduation gown hire service for graduations at Wagga Wagga, Albury-Wodonga and the NSW Police College at Goulburn, as well as on other campuses is available. Gowns and trenches are all available for hire or sale.
Campus newsletters are produced by the relevant campus- based Student Representative Committee . They contain club reports, information on student activities, issues affecting students, and events on campus. Contributions from all students are welcome.
Student Supplies on Wagga Wagga Campus offers quality CSU clothing, memorabilia and general items such as papers, magazines and some refreshments. Art + offers quality art materials at competitive rates. Student Supplies also runs a professional binding and copying service for students to ensure your assignments are presented in a professional manner.
CSU has a range of sporting and activities clubs for the benefit of students. These including sporting (rugby union and league, Australian rules, netball, hockey, volleyball, just to name a few), cultural, business, drama and religious clubs, and are available to all students.
CSU organises representative teams and individuals to compete in state, national and international university competitions. CSU has taken an active role in hosting a number of events for university students across the state, as well as organising on campus recreational activities and inter-campus competitions.
