Regional Bonus Scheme

Charles Sturt University (CSU) is a national university and as such we have extended our Regional Bonus Point program to include school leavers in regional areas throughout Australia.

The Regional Bonus Point (RBP) program is an equity program targeting regional youth. The program offers an additional five points to your university admission score.

CSU recognises that higher education participation rates are quite often lower in regional, non metropolitan areas. The RBP program will give regional students easier access to courses at any of our campuses.

Our RBP program has historically included the ACT with a population of over 300,000 therefore we have also include both Hobart (population 72,852) and Darwin (population 198,946) in our RBP catchment.

For school leavers the RBP program relates to the school you attend not the place you live. If for example you live in Bourke but attend boarding school in Sydney then you are not eligible. For non school leavers the program is linked to your home address and postcode.
