CSU offers a diverse and exciting range of undergraduate courses in Environmental Science and Management, Adventure Ecotourism and Parks Recreation and Heritage.

Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management

This course focuses strongly on field instruction and includes an industry internship in the final year. Extended field opportunities, global perspectives and international field expeditions develop graduates who have the skills to tackle national and international environmental issues.

Bachelor of Environmental Science – with specialisations

The course aims to educate students in a wide variety of disciplines within the areas of environmental management through a strong focus on real world, out in the field teaching environments. Specialisations include Conservation management, Catchment Management and Land and Water.

Bachelor of Applied Science (Adventure Ecotourism)

The course aims to educate students as practitioners in natural area tourism, including the associated areas of heritage and cultural tourism. Students will gain a sound scientific basis as well as develop a range of business, communication, leadership and social skills as required by the ecotourism industry in Australia. The course also aims to provide education in the area of ecologically sustainable tourism by fostering an understanding and an appreciation of the relationships between the natural and cultural environment, conservation and tourism.

Bachelor of Applied Science (Parks, Recreation and Heritage)

This course, which has been developed in cooperation with the National Parks and Wildlife Service, aims to produce graduates who can apply basic scientific principles to the management of Australia's natural resources and cultural resources for the purpose of conservation and recreation.

CSU also offers an Associate Degree of Applied Science (Parks, Recreation and Heritage). This course provides vocationally oriented management studies suitable for those working or wishing to work in recreation parks, Aboriginal and historic sites, urban parks and wildlife management.
