Scholarships for TAFE students and graduates

CSU has developed a TAFE specific scholarship program, called The CSU 'TAFE to University' Scholarship program.

This program has been specifically developed for Diploma and Advanced Diploma TAFE students. There are a total of 32 scholarships available, and each is a cash scholarship worth $2,500.

The scholarships are allocated in the following way:
  1. Three scholarships are exclusively allocated to each of our formal TAFE partners including;
  1. Plus, an additional 8 scholarships are available to any other TAFE NSW students who meet our scholarship program criteria. TAFE NSW Institute supporters included in this group are;

Selection for the scholarships is not just based on Academic Achievement. Students who have extensive 'industry experience', or are experiencing financial hardship, will also be considered for a scholarship.

Important Dates

  • 1 September 2011 Applications for ‘1st Round’ OPEN
  • 25 November 2011 Applications for ‘1st Round’ CLOSE
  • 25 November 2011 to 31 January 2012

    ‘2nd Round’ Applications OPEN, provided scholarship quota is available.
    Applications will be assessed and Outcome
    Application Notice will be sent within 2 weeks of application received.

    Offer acceptance deadline is 2 weeks from offer letter.
  • 9 December 2011 Outcome Notice sent to ‘1st Round’ applicants
  • 13 January 2012 Acceptance DEADLINE for ‘1st Round’ scholarship offers.
  • 31 January 2012 ‘2nd Round’ Applications CLOSE
