Definition

A showcase site is a single page or set of pages that function as the primary online marketing vehicle for a course (or group of courses). They are designed to capture the attention and interest of prospective students by employing a clear and compelling marketing message, an engaging visual design, and content that supports the general information in the online course brochures that will help prospective students further understand their study options at CSU.

Showcase websites should primarily contain marketing content that ‘sells’ the course, including images, testimonials, videos, information on student achievements, staff backgrounds and fields of interest etc.

What Steps I would need to take to get a Showcase site developed ?

  1. Marketing Officer works with client to organise and source content.
  2. Marketing Officer logs a job with DIT.
  3. DIT schedules production of showcase site. DIT works with Marketing Officer to produce website
  4. Site is proof-read by two Marketing Communications editors.
  5. DIT receives final approval and sign off from Marketing Officer.
  6. Contact Centre is advised of new site.
  7. Showcase site goes live .
