The University also provides funding to support a range of other University-led initiatives. These programs are not available as community grant programs, so members of the community cannot apply to receive funding. However, we welcome suggestions if you have a really great idea for initiatives that might fall within the funding parameters that you think the university should consider. This fund has been established to assist in attracting or staging conferences, seminars or similar events in CSU's campus towns consistent with the University's educational or research mission and role. It is not available for CSU academic or research conferences that are eligible for support through the Office of Research. Grant funding is only available in Australia at this time.
This fund is to support the conduct of Charles Sturt University initiated public lectures, seminars and related activities on the campuses of Charles Sturt University in each of our regions and to engage the community in discussion about issues of national and regional importance. The University welcomes suggestions for speakers and topics from the community. Funding is only available in Australia at this time.
This fund is to support members of Regional Consultative Committees who live more than 150km from a campus to travel to, and participate in, Regional Consultative Committee meetings, and to fund a joint regional consultative committee meeting every 2-3 years on a campus of Charles Sturt University. Grant funding is only available in Australia at this time.

The University and Charles Sturt University Foundation (with the generous support of our communities) provide a wide range of scholarships for members of the community enrolling in a program of study at Charles Sturt University.
The University makes available a number of grant programs for enrolled students at Charles Sturt University to meet the cost of textbooks, relocation, residential schools and other activities.
Each year the University provides thousands of dollars in scholarships and grants to assist enrolled Charles Sturt University students to travel and take part in a Student Exchange Program with one of our many overseas partner universities.
