"When looking at course options, I was looking for an online course that would be easy to keep up with, given I was a single parent in full-time work. In selecting CSU, I considered the cost of the course and the lecturers who were running the course.
"The main advantage for me in studying online was that I didn't have to take a lot of time out of work. I fitted study into my life by coming into work early and studying in the evenings. I found it very easy to connect with other students studying the same course and I'm still in touch with some of them. Being an online student was easy because of the administrative support I received.
"I attended one residential school in Wagga Wagga during my course. It was very well organised and reasonably priced. It also gave me the opportunity to meet with lecturers and students face-to-face. The role plays we did during our residential school also helped me practise a lot of what I had been learning, which has helped me when I mediate at work. I currently oversee all the complaints at my work and mediate any major issues, so this course has certainly assisted me with my career development.
"CSU is a great university with extremely talented and knowledgeable lecturers."
