About Us

Charles Sturt University, through CSU Global, strives to provide all of our students the opportunity to experience the world through a broad range of international study experiences.

A suite of programs have been designed to give students (on campus and studying by distance education) international exposure and a competitive edge in the graduate market.

Add an international edge to your degree by studying on exchange, participating in short-term programs, attending conferences, volunteering or completing your workplace learning at one of many international destinations. Enhance your competitiveness as a graduate in the new global marketplace and have fun at the same time.

"My employer appreciated the fact that I was well travelled. The fact that I had the confidence to travel to a foreign university and learn in a different culture was attractive to my employer, I am now heading up the sales and marketing for a product for the Asia Pacific region, My experience on exchange helped me understand and appreciate different cultures, as well as converse with them. I currently have to video conference with the HQ in Italy being able to talk to people of different languages. My experiences overseas is helpful as a consultant as in my job I need to be out of the office talking to people and my exchange gives me a massive talking point with customers. I would recommend it to anyone, I would do it again in a heart beat."
Gerard Simms - Bachelor of Information Technology graduate 2010.

Benefits of international study experience include:

  • Cross-cultural communication
  • Relationship management
  • Enhanced organisational and time management skills
  • Increased self-confidence
