Hong Kong Internship scholarships
Australian citizens between 18 and 30 years of age are invited to apply for an internship scholarship valued at $3000.00 for internship activities undertaken in Hong Kong from June 2014 - June 2015. You could gain valuable international work experience related to your field of study while exploring a new country and making new friends.
The Hong Kong internship program is a university wide opportunity for undergraduate students to undertake a professional placement in a Hong Kong company. The opportunity for you to gain a diverse experience through an internship placement in Hong Kong would be incredibly unique. The district has become a melting pot for high achieving professionals from around the world and you would not only be learning from your discipline areas but you would also have the opportunity to experience firsthand the skills required to work in a truly multinational workforce and develop your professional networks.
To take up such an opportunity you will independently organise you internship/placement under guidelines set by your School. Placements need to be of a minimum three week duration (although longer placements may be considered) and must count towards academic credit in your current CSU degree.
The first step for you to take is to contact your Course Director to speak with them about your overseas options and whether you would be able to receive the credit required. Within most schools it is the responsibility of the student to organise their placement but it will be able to advise you of its protocols and guidelines for such activities.
Once you have received acknowledgment of credit and have begun organising your placement you can submit your application.
Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis up until 30 May, 2015 with funding awarded continuously until all 10 scholarships have been allocated. Your travel must be taken prior to 30 June 2015.
