Eligibility

Undergraduate Students:

To be eligible you must:

  • Have completed a minimum of 3 subjects at CSU (24 subject points) at time of application
  • Have a grade point average of 4.5 at time of application and until the time of exchange*
  • Have approval from your Course Director to receive credit for a minimum of 3 CSU subject (minimum of 24 subject points) whilst on exchange
  • Be enrolled as in an undergraduate degree as a full-time student at CSU whilst on exchange
  • Have completed a minimum of 6 subjects at CSU (48 subject points) at the time of exchange commencement
  • Not be returning to your country of residence to undertake your exchange

*Please note: applicants with a GPA lower than 4.5 could still be considered provided supporting documentation is submitted reflecting the reason/s their grade is below the required GPA. An exchange offer may be revoked if GPA falls below 4.5 prior to the exchange placement.

Postgraduate Students:

To be eligible you must:

  • Have completed 4 subjects at CSU (minimum 32 points) prior to undertaking exchange
  • Have evidence of an equivalent grade point average of 4.5 from undergraduate studies in the last five years. Students that have completed their undergraduate degree prior to the last five years need to discuss individual requirements with the Manager CSU Global
  • You must have a grade point average of 4.5 at the time of exchange placement (*) 
  • You must have approval from your Course Director to receive credit for a minimum of  3 CSU subjects (minimum of 24 subject points)
  • You must be enrolled as a full-time student while on exchange
  • Not be returning to your country of residence to undertake your exchange

(*)where a student has not completed subjects in order to obtain a GPA at the time of application they will be granted provisional eligibility for exchange based on previous studies. Exchange placement may be revoked should a student's GPA falls below 4.5 at the time of departure.
