I will be attending

It's time to get ready for graduation. We can't wait to celebrate with you! Here is what you need to do to confirm you will be attending a ceremony.

COVID-19 and graduation: August graduation ceremonies have been postponed. If you have graduated in 2020, sit tight and keep an eye on your inbox. We will be in contact with you as soon as we can reschedule graduation ceremonies again.

Step 1

Get ready to graduate

Once you are in your final session you will receive a graduation invite. You will receive this invite by email. When you receive your invite depends on which session you complete your course.

Most invites are sent during the last subject in:

  • Session 3, February - March
  • Session 1, April - May
  • Session 2, September.

Step 2

Plan where and when you want to graduate

You normally attend a graduation ceremony at your campus of study. For example, if you studied at Bathurst campus we will send you information about graduating at a Bathurst ceremony.

However, you may be able to graduate at a different location. If you are eligible to change locations you will be given the option to select your preferred graduation ceremony when you receive your graduation invite.

Change the time

You can also delay your graduation as long as it is not beyond the year that you meet your course requirements. If you finish at the end of Session 1, you have the option to delay your graduation from August to December. If you complete your course at the end of Session 2, you cannot delay your graduation from December to August. If you are eligible you will be given the option to delay your graduation when you receive your graduation invite.

If you are studying the Associate Degree of Policing Practice (ADPP), you cannot delay your graduation. Ceremonies are held in August each year.

Step 3

Confirm you are coming

Your graduation invite will prompt you to select whether you want to attend a ceremony or not. It's easy! To join your ceremony, all you have to do is pay for your ticket (which includes hire of your graduation gown) and buy your guest tickets.

Everything you need to know about tickets

Follow the prompt in your graduation invite email. You will be taken to our online shop where you can select and pay for your tickets. Your tickets will be given to you when you register on the day. You do not need to print them.

Ticket prices
  • Your ticket (including gown hire): $110. Your gown hire is included in your ticket price. This cost remains the same for all students - even if they bring their own gown.
  • Guest tickets: $15. All children above 1 need to have their own ticket.
Extra tickets

We want all the important people in your life to be able to attend your graduation ceremony. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, tickets are limited to the capacity of each venue. If extra tickets are available we will let you know as soon as possible by email. So keep an eye on your inbox.

Extra tickets cannot be purchased on the day.
