Dr Atieh Sadr received her DDS (Dental Degree) from MDS, Iran,
in 1995. In 1998, she received her postgraduate MS in Endodontics from the same
Dental School, she has worked in MDS Endodontic department as teaching
assistant for 3 years before moving to Rafsanjan Dental school where she held
appointments as Assistant and subsequently Associate Professor in the
Department of Endodontic Dentistry, University of Rafsanjan for more than 8
years, her responsibilities were coordinating of preclinical and clinical
endodontics, presenting of endodontic course, supervising undergraduate
dissertations in field of endodontics. From 1998-2007 she held additional
appointments as head of Endodontic Unit, member of Board of advisors of the
Medical Journal of Rafsanjan University and university strategic planning,
faculty representative to Technical and Research committee of Iranian Dental
Association and head of Research committee.
On April 2003, she was appointed as Head of Rafsanjan Dental School before coming to ANU, Canberra for her SEM research, she left Australia after finishing her research and came back again in 2006, she got her Australian dental registration from Melbourne university through ADC Exams in 2008 and since then she has worked in different private dental practices which she mostly involved in endodontic and restorative treatments.
She joined CSU in 2010 and is currently involved with Endodontic program at Orange dental school. Dr Sadr is dedicated to providing quality teaching with the great emphasis on active learning. She also treat patients at Orange dental clinic and mostly involved with referral endodontic cases including revascularization.
Dr Sadr has given lectures at national and international conferences.
