The Division of Information Technology (DIT) is responsible for the management, development and planned execution of Charles Sturt's Technology Initiatives (TI). Formerly known as ISIP, the TI is a portfolio of initiatives requiring planned change that transforms process, information management and systems across the university.
The division also manages the Information and Communication Technology: Significant Works Register (ICT:SWR). The ICT:SWR supports the TI and enables current IT services to operate efficiently and effectively, as well as providing enhancements to existing services through request/assignment and problem management.
The Web Office within the division manages the Web Improvement Program (WIP). The WIP is the approved annual program of major web development and redevelopment works that supports the objectives of the University Strategy and is endorsed by the Web Strategy Committee.
