Remote Access - Working from Home

If you are required to work from home, the following advice will assist you to use your university-managed laptop (or desktop) or your own personal computer equipment to undertake university-related activities.

2. Using my Charles Sturt managed laptop Yes Yes Yes Yes Ensure you have logged on to your laptop on campus prior to working from home and installed all software.
3. Using my Charles Sturt managed desktop (not recommended, please use scenario 1 or 2 if possible) Yes Yes Yes Yes Ensure you have logged on to your desktop on campus and you have Installed required software. Physically connect your desktop computer into your home internet router device using an ‘Ethernet’ cable (often blue in colour).
