The Temporary Access Administration System enables you to create a temporary account for those requiring temporary staff access to CSU IT services and/or systems. A temporary account will allow PhD and HDR students, visiting academics, consultants, vendors and contractors to login to CSU computers and gain access to the services they require. There are six (6) types of accounts that can be created
|Target availability of service||99% availability. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week|
|Special access conditions|
Temporary access can only be created by a permanent staff member, a casual cannot grant temporary access (be a supervisor) to someone else
|Significant incident response||Up to 15 minutes in 98% of cases during support hours for incidents affecting availability of service for all staff (this does not include incidents affecting individuals or a small subset of staff)|
|Significant Incident resolution|
Up to 1 day in 98% of cases during support hours for incidents affecting availability of service for all staff (this does not include incidents affecting individuals or a small subset of staff)
As a supervisor you must provide an account code for charges that may be incurred by system use (eg internet downloads)
Temporary access accounts should not be created for staff that will be employed and paid by HR. Accounts for these staff will be automatically provisioned when HR process your notification of new staff member

Provision, management, access and support of the Temporary Account Administration System is funded by the University and is provided at no additional cost to staff.
