The transformation of Atkins Hall at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga is now complete.
The renovations offer students, staff and visitors a dining experience that is vibrant, fun and has ample of space to socialise and relax.
The works totalled $1.2 million, $250,000 contribution from the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF), and included a new covered deck area to seat about 100, an upgrade to the interior space to offer a more streamlined service and rebranding of the venue. The space is now known as the Food Bowl and incorporates the Pulse counter for 'grab and go', pre-packaged items.
The Atkins Hall makeover completes the food rebranding on the Wagga campus, with Eat@20 now called The Hub and Common Crust in the Learning Commons now known as Crave café. The rebranding will be rolled out across all CSU campuses by the end of 2014.
The renovations and new-look Food Bowl eatery was officially opened by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration Professor Ken Dillon on September 11, 2014.
