Charles Sturt University (CSU) campus maps are now available on mobile handsets and tablet devices.
Easily find your way across campus by accessing Map Mobile from your web browser (Safari or Chrome) or the soon-to-be released CSU2 Mobile App.
Map Mobile looks similar to CSU's FMCentral website – which displays the University's mapping and space management data.
The maps show campus site plans, building floor plans and photographs. The user can turn on and off different features including street names and car parks.
The mobile platform has the added benefit of a GPS locator. Screenshots of the maps can also be captured.
Navigating the website is like other commercial touch-screen maps – two-touch gesture to zoom in and out and one touch to pan across the map.
There is a built-in search functionality and a comprehensive help guide for users.
Map Mobile will help improve way finding at all CSU locations. Users will also be able to provide feedback on campus facilities and services through the Hearsay rating guide, which will be coming soon to the app.
To access Map Mobile visit FMCentral on your mobile device or click the 'maps' icon in the CSU2 Mobile App.
