CSU Card

Your CSU Card identifies you as a student or staff member of the University. As a CSU Card holder, you'll be able to access library services, buy items from campus retail outlets and enter buildings fitted with Cardax proximity readers.

Continuing and fixed-term employees

All continuing and fixed-term employees are eligible for a CSU Card.

If you're based at a campus with card production facilities (see below), email staffcard@csu.edu.au to book a time to have your photo taken. Your email should include:

  • the campus where you're requesting the appointment
  • your preferred day.

Your appointment time and directions will be confirmed by email. Please note: student cards will be given priority during periods of peak demand.

If you're located a site without card production facilities, email staffcard@csu.edu.au and attach:

Visiting and adjunct staff

Visiting and adjunct staff aren't eligible for a CSU Card unless stated in their offer of appointment.

If you're based at a campus with card production facilities (see below), email staffcard@csu.edu.au to book a time to have your photo taken. Your email should include:

  • the campus where you're requesting the appointment;
  • your preferred day; and
  • an attached copy of Confirmation of Adjunct Appointment email you received from vastaff@csu.edu.au, confirming CSU Card eligibility.

If you're located a site without card production facilities, email staffcard@csu.edu.au and attach:

  • a completed CSU Card Application for Staff Members;
  • coloured digital photograph (less than 100kb and in JPG format);
  • copy of the Confirmation of Adjunct Appointment email you received from vastaff@csu.edu.au, confirming CSU Card eligibility.

Casual employees

If you're a casual employee and need a CSU Card, complete the CSU Card Application for Staff Members, which requires your supervisor's approval.

If you're based at a campus with card production facilities (see below), email staffcard@csu.edu.au to book a time to have your photo taken. Your email should include:

  • the campus where you're requesting the appointment; and
  • your preferred day.
