Employee Development and Review Scheme (EDRS)
The Employee Development and Review Scheme (known as EDRS) is the formal performance management review process at CSU.
Employee Development and Review Scheme
EDRS is the university’s performance management program which has been designed to meet the needs of employee’s current and future professional needs, and is aligned to meet the objectives of CSU’s strategic direction, values and behaviours.
The intent of EDRS is to encourage meaningful conversations between the employee and their manager to ensure employees are equipped to perform their role effectively.
EDRS serves the following purpose:
- Setting and reviewing work objectives
- Professional development – Identifying the appropriate level of support and development to achieve objectives
- Ensuring alignment to our strategic direction, values and behaviours
- Support from CSU to achieve work and professional development
EDRS meetings are formally held from January to March for professional/general employees and from October to December for academic employees. For Executive and Senior employees this is held every calendar year.
EDRS Manager is a custom-built performance management system, aligned to the needs of the Employee Development and Review Scheme. All permanent or fixed term employees who have completed probation are required to participate in the Scheme.
