Design of Learning Spaces at CSU is guided by pedagogy, study of student/academic behaviours and educational research. This is done in two stages:
1. The Learning and Teaching Spaces Improvement Team (LTSIT)
The following documents guide the coordination, review recommendations and tactical decisions for the team:
2. The Learning Environments Committee (LEC)
The outcome of these two stages and relating documents coalesce into an agenda for reform of learning spaces which includes renovating existing spaces, building new spaces and the CSU Campus Learning Spaces Principles and Priorities document.
Achievements for 2018
The first Learning Environments Newsletter (August 2018) surfaces the work of the Learning Environments Committee and its members on digital and physical learning environments. It is particularly focussed on teaching staff and attempt to highlight new or amended physical and digital learning environments (learning systems and learning technologies) that occurred in the last quarter of the year since the previous LEC meeting.
