On 22 Feburary, 2017, we conducted a Workplace Learning Seminar "The Foundation
of Professionalism in and for Practice: The authenticity of our personhood and
conduct" with visiting Professors Della Fish and Linda De Cossart. We
talked about an education that is 'doing good', that nurtures the learner and
helps them to become professionals whose conduct is driven by virtues and from
within themselves. Meaningful teacher presence and teacher-student interactions
are crucial to help learners find a connection between self and their practice.
