u!magine officially concluded its work in December 2019.The establishment of the u!magine Digital Learning Laboratory provided a focus point for the continued investment in innovation within CSU's online learning and teaching. At the institutional level, u!magine led a number of strategic programs to create a vision for online learning at CSU, while also supporting localised innovation through a series of innovation grants and other key initiatives that help individual staff further their own innovative ideas by exploring new practices, technologies and developing new resources. If you are interested in online learning innovation please contact the Division of Learning and Teaching.
The focus on supporting innovation in online learning was reaffirmed in Online Learning Innovation and Incubation Strategy, which was launched in July 2017. The strategy outlines a program of work designed to establish a culture of innovation in online learning technologies and teaching practices. Key stakeholders in the strategy include u!magine, online educators, learning designers, learning technologists, researchers, learning and teaching leadership staff and students (both as beneficiaries of innovation and as innovators in their own right).
