Working on a public holiday

There may be times when we need you to work on a public holiday. A loading applies for professional/general staff who are directed to work on these days.

Annual closedown

The Vice-Chancellor may approve the annual closedown of all or part of the University during the Christmas/New Year period.

The closedown may include days that are not public holidays and you will need to take annual leave or flexitime to cover those days.

Details of the annual closedown will be available in October each year.

Maundy Thursday concessional holiday

The Vice-Chancellor may approve a concessional holiday for staff in attendance on Maundy Thursday.

Details of the concessional holiday will be available in February each year.
