Boost Your Health & Wellbeing
Joining the 15 Minute Challenge is an easy way to boost your health and wellbeing and get back into a habit of exercise.
The challenge is a 6-week online team competition for busy people that makes exercise an enjoyable part of your every day and helps you form a new long-term habit of daily exercise in the most easy, enjoyable and sustainable way.
After the success of the last program, we are kicking off a 6-week 15 Minute Challenge this year to promote health and wellbeing within Charles Sturt University.
The challenge starts Monday, 14th of March and registrations to join are now open!
In last years challenge:
- 80% of Charles Sturt participants saw an increase in their overall health
- 72% of Charles Sturt participants improved team morale
- 50% of Charles Sturt participants improved their productivity
- 82% of Charles Sturt participants said that they would love to do it again
Benefits
By taking part in 15 Minute Challenge you will develop and maintain a habit of exercise which will lead to:
- Stronger immune system
- Feeling more energetic throughout the day
- More upbeat mood
- Sleeping well
- Building better relationships with workmates and improved social interaction
The challenge is perfect for any fitness level from beginner to advanced, and will help you to build a habit of exercise, get back into a habit of daily exercise, or improve your current level of fitness.
How does it work?
- Form a team of 4 to 6 with your workmates on the online platform. The challenge is free to staff and spaces are limited.
- Compete against fellow staff teams at Charles Sturt University.
- Simply find 15 minutes a day to do an exercise of your choice for as many days as possible throughout the 6-week challenge.
- There are great team and individual prizes to be won.
In last years challenge, 80% of participants saw an increase an overall health - let's match or better that result this year!

The RED wellbeing centre contains expert advice, tips and tools in three areas: Move, Munch and Mind.
The Move and Munch sections have hundreds of fitness videos to choose from and more than 1,500 nutritious recipes. The Mind section contains mindfulness and meditation videos, productivity tips, advice for reducing stress and improving sleep all give mental wellbeing a boost. -
