Internal Communication

Reporting to the Executive Officer to the Vice-Chancellor, the internal communication team is responsible for the University-wide internal communication strategy. The strategy and related practices aim to strengthen our sense of community and foster a positive and inclusive culture.

This encompasses:

  • coordinating internal communication on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor;
  • increasing staff engagement and connection to the delivery of the University Strategy 2022;
  • providing advice and support to enable the consistent development and execution of internal communication plans relating to initiatives, projects, change programs, policy and performance;
  • profiling key activities and achievements;
  • celebrating successes;
  • equipping staff with the necessary guidance, tools and templates to enable effective internal communication.

Through this work the internal communication team strive to support a strong university that has organisational culture, workplace capability and agility to adapt and thrive in a continually changing environment.
