BUS204 Business Analysis and Data Analytics (8)

The increasing availability of data provides opportunities to support evidence-based business decision-making. Students will be introduced to a range of data sources and analytical tools currently used in industry such as social networks and media. Students will also be asked to apply analytic models to create insight and from this insight develop ideas for further analysis.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

  • be able to track and report industry trends;
  • be able to collate data and explain the implications of the findings on business operations and tactics; and
  • be able to utilise data to make recommendations on insights and ideas for further analysis.
