Students will be introduced to the theoretical and practical foundations of human resource management (HRM) which will enable them to apply HRM strategies in their workplace. Students will learn to critically examine how HRM functions, how HRM can play a role in effective change management, and in what ways human resource issues can influence HRM strategy formulation and implementation in an information agency.

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
