This subject aims to develop investigative skills in line with the legal requirements of the NSW Police Force and the NSW criminal justice system. The subject introduces critical and logical thinking, crime scene processes, note-taking and develops statement preparation skills. The PEACE model for investigative interviewing of victims and witnesses is introduced. There is a component that examines information gathering and the submission of Police Intelligence Reports.
