Student Counselling and Safer Communities
The Student Counselling and Safer Communities Team provide free and confidential counselling to students with a goal of helping them to increase their sense of wellbeing and achieve academic success.
They are friendly, qualified and approachable social workers and psychologists who can provide counselling sessions, let you know about a range of support options and also link you in with other services in your community.
This area will also develop and implement Charles Sturt’s prevention initiatives relating to the Subject Zero Campaign to provide advice to staff who receive disclosures from students, manage our response, support and advice service to students who have experience sexual misconduct or issues impacting their safety and wellbeing.
