Every year, the Charles Sturt University Regional Archives facilitates a number of student scholarships with the aim of contributing to local historical knowledge and to help give information studies students some hands-on experience in an archive.
These scholarships are open to suitably qualified Charles Sturt University students on a competitive basis.
The School of Information Studies and Charles Sturt University Regional Archives offer a scholarship to a student enrolled in a course within the School of Information Studies.
This scholarship is an excellent opportunity for a student proposing to make a career as an information professional to gain practical work experience in their chosen field.
The Wagga Wagga and District Historical Society, in partnership with Charles Sturt University Regional Archives, offer a scholarship to a Charles Sturt University student to work on a research project at the Archives which will make a contribution to the study of local history.
The application period for 2019 Scholarships has now ended. Please contact Wayne Doubleday, Charles Sturt University Regional Archives Manager, for information about upcoming scholarship opportunities.
