Michael Friend takes the helm at Graham Centre

27 March 2015

Associate Professor Michael Friend has taken on the top job as Acting Director, Graham Centre for Agricultural Innovation after Professor Deirdre Lemerle retired from the position on Wednesday 25 March.

"The Centre is at an exciting time in its life, after 10 years we have built up strong industry links and have developed  a reputation for delivering research that is of high quality and has industry impact," Michael said.

"This sets us up well for increased outcomes and outputs over the next few years.  There are a number of large new initiatives on the horizon that members are working on, which will be truly multi-disciplinary, and if funded will really enhance our reputation in leading research that has impact for our farming systems."
