On farm management practices vary depending on production system and region. Sheep breeds appear to vary in both seasonal productivity and reproductive response to improved nutrition. The current ewe management guidelines have not been broadly tested across different regions, season of joining, breed or responsiveness. This project will interrogate the relevance of the current guidelines and determine if further refinement is required to equip producers with more tailored advice based on production system and region.
