Edward/Kolety-Wakool Monitoring, Evaluation and Research Program

The Edward/Kolety-Wakool Monitoring, Evaluation and Research (MER) Program is a continuation of the Long Term Intervention Monitoring Project conducted from 2014 – 2018 and is the primary means by which the Commonwealth Environmental Water Office (CEWO) is monitoring and evaluating the ecological outcomes of Commonwealth environmental watering actions.

The Edward/Kolety-Wakool is one of seven Selected Areas in the Murray-Darling Basin that will continue to be monitored for a further three year period from July 2019 to December 2022. A detailed MER Plan has been developed and describes the monitoring, evaluation and research activities that will be undertaken as part of the CEWO MER Program up to December 2022.
