Building Effective Partnerships

In 2008 the EASLP project was invited to evaluate a Learning Alliance focused on pig production systems in northern Laos. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of NGOs and government working together in partnership as a way to scale out new agricultural technologies. The ACIAR Legumes for Pigs Project (L4PP) Development Alliance was created in 2006. It involved the L4PP project staff working with development partners World Vision Laos, Christian Reformed World Relief Committee (CRWRC) and German Agro Action (GAA) in four northern Laos provinces.
