New Access is a beyondblue early intervention program designed to support people with mild to moderate anxiety and/or depression in Australia.
ILWS researchers have been engaged to evaluate the program, specifically from the perspective of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their carers, supporters and service partners.
The evaluation will assess the present offering of the program, in relation to the requested feasibility, acceptability, effectiveness, efficiency and safety, and proposes to consider its potential for the program to be scaled up nationally.

The evaluation will lead to an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the program from multiple stakeholder perspectives with a focus on the specific needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, including policy and practice frameworks and logistical implications of scaling up nationally.
