Little Tilly is an adorable 1 year old Pomeranian Cross Poodle, who was diagnosed with congenital renal dysplasia (kidney disease) at approximately 10 weeks of age. Tilly has been a regular patient with the Medical Team at the CSU Small Animal Referral Hospital since she was a 12 weeks old. Her care plan includes regular check-ups, such as blood and urine tests and repeat ultrasounds.
Last week Tilly was de-sexed. To ensure her kidneys were well taken care of during the procedure, she was referred to the CSU Anaesthetic Team who designed an anaesthetic protocol especially for Tilly. Our efficient Surgical Team made sure the procedure was performed with precision to ensure Tilly spent minimal time under anaesthesia. Tilly recovered well from anaesthetic and is back to being as bright as a button!
