During this subject, students complete a minimum of 140 hours of professional placement in settings catering to apparently healthy clients. These experiences aim to assist students to fully participate as an emerging professional in the exercise science community, by investigating the operational requirements of the industry, assuming multiple roles and responsibilities, adopting ethical practice and integrating their discipline, practical, interpersonal and reflective knowledge in authentic, real-world professional contexts.

Available to students in the Graduate Diploma of Exercise and Sport Science or as approved by the Course Director.
Students should have an understanding of anatomy and physiology, exercise physiology, functional anatomy, exercise prescription and socio-psychological determinants of exercise behavior prior to undertaking this subject.
