This subject teaches students how to gather the network requirements for a business, analyse an existing network and design an Active Directory service and network infrastructure. It starts with an overview of the technologies used in Windows 2003 and then discusses how to design Active Directory. This includes creating plans for forests, domains, trees and organisational units. Designing network infrastructure for the network using services like domain name system and Windows internet naming system routing, remote access and DHCP are also discussed.
