This subject is an elective subject which is a work-based assignment compiled from secondary research methods obtaining data from non-human information sources. The student, in liaison with their subject coordinator and their employer, will choose a subject or issue to study that is deemed important for all these three stakeholders. Once the subject has been chosen, the student will research relevant sources such as Internet websites, published texts, articles, statistics and other available sources along with policies, practices and procedures (within the context of the discipline that the student is studying) as appropriate at international, national, regional and local levels. The student will prepare a report on the subject or issue which will be assessed for this subject and also be available for the information of their employer.
