The subject introduces students to a detailed and at times theoretical analysis necessary for understanding Australia's place in the global economy. Areas of coverage include the international economic forces afoot in the global economy and the implications for a small, open economy; and how these economic forces impact on social, economic and business enterprises generally. Contemporary issues will be examined to provide a depth of knowledge relating to the managers role in business economics and economic forces in globalised organisations.
