Students will be introduced to key terminology that is used to facilitate the development and delivery of culturally safe health care to Indigenous Australian peoples. Analysis of current demographic and health statistics for Indigenous Australian peoples, with combined knowledge of diabetes and wound care, will equip students to work respectfully with high risk clients to reduce morbidity and to prevent lower extremity amputations.
