This subject covers those research epistemologies, strategies and methods of data collection most suited to the discipline of social work and its fields of practice, including planning and designing a research project. It provides an overview of contexts within which enquiry is undertaken, and introduces candidates to the role and potential of research in social work and its diverse fields of practice.
