This subject introduces students to the key issues, concerns and theories of leadership, and supports students to build a theoretical framework in the context of, and for, the practice of their own leadership. The subject will guide students in their study of leadership by encouraging self-analysis and the articulation of their own personal and ethical values.
The subject will explore a broad range of leadership approaches using them as a lens with which to view leadership. Students will be encouraged to critically engage with leadership and management research by applying leadership theory to their own practice and/or experience of leadership.
