This subject introduces students to the applied business, management and leadership skills required for paraprofessional and professional creative industries employment in a range of contexts. Students interrogate the role technology plays in innovation and disruption of creative models of practice. The subject provides contemporary contextual understanding for developing an independent creative identity and personal/professional brand. Students apply design and systems thinking with lean start up methodologies to their individual disciplinary study to further their professional web presence, media strategy, and personal, professional or business plan.
